Barcelona have made a third bid for Brazilian forward Philippe Coutinho for around €125M (£114M).
The weighty offer is rumoured to have included a sizeable chunk in bonus payments, meaning the initial fee could be under £100M.
The bid was rejected immediately by Liverpool FC.
Coutinho remains absent from Liverpool's matchday squad due to his 'back trouble' and this bid arrives one week on from Fenway's annoucement not to sell the player, and Coutinho himself handing in a transfer request.
Jurgen Klopp spoke yesterday that as far as he was concerned 'nothing had changed' and the rejection of this latest bid seems to suggest that FSG meant what they said last week.
However, Spanish sports paper Marca is suggesting that Liverpool could be convinced to do business at around the €150M (£135M) mark.
