Adam Lallana is Merseyside bound in a potential £25M transfer deal.
The Southampton player is heading to Melwood today according to The Telegraph after both clubs appear to have approached the end stage of negotiations over the midfielder.
Adam Lallana was under-utilised in England's dire World Cup campaign - a fact that will not be lost on Southampton when they come to valuing the player.
Before the World Cup they were believed to be holding out for £30M but now the dust has settled they are keen to move on with sales of both Lallana to LFC and Luke Shaw to Man Utd at an advanced stage.
The deal is likely to include several add-ons linked to the players performance at Liverpool.
Liverpool made their first bid for Lallana just hours after the end of the season, with another bid rejected prior to the World Cup starting. As is the norm for an LFC transfer - Spurs had also displayed 'interest' in the player.
Lallana would join former team-mate Rickie Lambert at Anfield if he completes his signing.
