Liverpool have agreed fees with Benfica and Lille for attackers Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi according to reports.
Origi was pictured at Melwood yesterday, said to be discussing terms rather than undergoing a medical. However, being exposed via the full glare of Liverpool's training facility suggests this was more than early stage negotiations. He is attracting interest from a number of clubs including Spurs.
Lille want to keep hold of Origi on loan for another season as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, the reds have met the release clause with Benfica for winger Markovic according to the Liverpool Echo - slightly under £20M.
At 19 and 20 years old respectively this represents another risk on youth from Liverpool ahead of a testing Champions League campaign.
Whilst Origi impressed with Belgium in the World Cup, Markovic is also developing an international career with his native Serbia - he now has 12 caps.
Lazar also played his part in a long campaign across domestic and European football last season for Benfica - scoring 7 goals in the 49 matches he played.
There are suggestions that Markovic will have his medical as early as today.
