Director of Football, Damien Comolli, is believed to have asked the French club to keep them informed should the player seek a move away.
Despite having a contract due to take the Belgian through to the summer of 2015, it is widely expected that the 20 year old will leave Lille this summer. Numerous other major European clubs are also believed to be interested in the player.
Lille recently captured the French Cup and are now attempting to end a 57 year wait for the French Ligue title.
Eden Hazard has been relatively tight-lipped about his future but has said:
“I want to play at a big club. And in Italy we know there are many.
“I have no preference. A major championship, I feel like it. But for now, I am with Lille.”
The 5ft 7in player has made over 130 appearances with Lille, became a father shortly before his 20th birthday, and already has 19 senior level international caps to his name.
