16 year old Ki Jana Hoever joined the reds in September 2018 from Ajax.
The Amsterdam born Dutch-U17 international joined the Under 18 team in the Academy.
With Liverpool's senior team suffering defensive injuries around Christmas 2018 he was called up to train with the senior squad at Melwood.
He was named in the matchday squad for the FA Cup 3rd round clash away at Premier League opposition Wolverhampton Wanderers who were having an impressive first season in the division.
With Dejan Lovren suffering an injury within the first ten minutes, Ki-Jana came off the bench to make his first Liverpool appearance - partnering Fabinho at centre-back.
He became, at the time, the third youngest debutant and the youngest ever FA Cup debutant aged 16 years and 354 days.
Despite an assured performance, Liverpool lost the game 2-1 and were knocked out with Wolves eventually also knocking out Man Utd and reaching the FA Cup semi-final.
