David NGog Profile
David N’Gog started his career with FC Franconville before joining Paris Saint-Germian in 2001, and eventually signing a professional contract in June 2006 at the age of 17.
N’Gog made 18 league appearances for the French side, scoring once, yet it was his fantastic record with the youth sides of France which caught the eye of many as a future France striker, including his goal against England U19’s in 2007 in a 2-0 win for Les Blues.
Rafa hailed his scouting system with the capture of N’Gog for a relatively low price of £1.5m. After his transfer, he made his first appearances in pre-season friendlies against Villareal, Rangers and Vålerenga IF, scoring against the Glaswegians and Norwegians.
N’Gog has won the Coupe de la Ligue (French League Cup) in 2008 with PSG, the U18 French League Title and has been top scorer for France in two U16 Tournaments.
David N'Gog scored his first Liverpool goal in the 3-1 away game against PSV Eindhoven in the final UEFA Champions Leaugue group game in December 2008.
With Fernando Torres being injured for much of the 2009/10 season N''gog was the man Liverpool called upon. Young David had a decent season scoring 8 goals including Liverpool's second goal in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Manchester united.
Ngog started the 2010/11 season with 3 goals in the 2 leg tie agianst Rabotonicki in the europan league and a goal agianst Arsenal in the opening game of the season.
