NO RISK FOR REDS STRIKER
Contrary to reports in today's press, it looks certain that Dirk Kuyt will be rested for tomorrow's visit by Blackburn.
Some suggestions had been made that Dirk would make a miracle recovery from last weeks ankle ligament injury he suffered with the Dutch national side.
But Rafa, ever cautious, has decided that he will rest the player and keep him ready for the mid-week European game.
"I spoke with the doctor, and we think it's better if Kuyt is not involved for this game. But he is better and we hope he will be okay for the next game.
"Robbie Fowler had a problem with his back, but we think he'll be available, and Momo Sissoko's ankle isn't too bad."
