DIAO TO POTTER OFF?
Liverpool's hunk of deadwood, Salif Diao, could be about to make his penultimate move away from Anfield.
One of Gerard Houllier's least succesful signings could move to Stoke City on a three month loan, before his contract expires at Anfield at the end of this season.
The Senegalese player cost Liverpool £5 million. (deep breath!) but now looks set to play some Championship football.
Rafa has consistently praised the player's attitude in training, even though he thinks he is garbage, and Salif himself had this to say to Sky Sports about his possible loan deal:
"I need to be playing regular, competitive football and Stoke will give me that chance.
"The Championship is tough, but I need that to get my sharpness back."
Let's all hope he gets a game at Stoke.
