MOMO DESIRE FOR JANUARY RETURN

Sissoko keen to return to action |
Midfielder Momo Sissoko has set his sights on a Liverpool return for the clash against Chelsea on the 20th January.
The reds midfielder, rushed to hospital during last night's Carling Cup win, has been ruled out for three months after undergoing surgery to repair ligaments and tendons damaged in a dislocation of his right shoulder.
However, Momo has expressed his desire to return to action much sooner, targetting the Anfield clash against Chelsea in mid January.
A statement from the reds confirmed the surgery news today:
'Unfortunately Momo will require surgery which is scheduled to take place next week.
'It is anticipated he will be out of action for three months.'
Earlier this year Momo suffered a potentially career-ending injury to his eyes only to make a dramatic return within a matter of weeks. Fingers crossed the big man can do it again.
