REDS GOALIE'S ON THE WAY OUT?? Liverpool could be about to lose their two young English keepers. Scott Carson turned in a man of the match display at the weekend for Sheffield Wednesday where he is on loan, and even though Kirkland is back at Anfield, West Brom and Bryan Robson are keen to make the deal permanent. Scott Carson: The former Leeds goalkeeper, who arrived at Sheffield Wednesday for an initial one-month loan spell from Liverpool on March 10, turned in a man-of-the-match display to keep play-off chasing Wolves at bay in Saturday's unlikely 3-1 win at Molineux. "I'm up to my old games again, having no keeper on the bench, but thankfully it was okay," said Owls boss Sturrock. "Lee Bullen did fantastically in the nets a few weeks ago, but I'm not sure he'd have saved a few of those (at Wolves). "We had to wait a long time for Scott. I was after him for three months with Liverpool's European commitments. "But now we know he's the type of player we need to have at Sheffield Wednesday - at the start of the season we couldn't go for players like him," he added. "He's on the dreaded 24-hour recall, so I'm hoping Liverpool have no injury problems and their keepers stay fit." Chris Kirkland: Bryan Robson today said on West Brom's website: "We have a real interest in Chris at the end of the season," he told the club's official website. "It depends on our position and where we are and if Liverpool are prepared to do a deal. "Although Chris has had a few unfortunate injuries, as far as his back is concerned, he's proved that he's fit. "He's just been unlucky with the kidney injury and the broken finger, which can happen to anybody. We would have a real interest in him if things go well for us."
