HILLSBOROUGH CLASH AVERTED
The match will now take place a day later on Sunday, with a 2.30pm kick off. It is the second time the fixture has been changed after Liverpool sought to make it possible for supporters to attend the Hillsborough memorial service and then the match at Ewood Park. A 5.15pm kick-off on the Saturday was originally ear-marked, however The Reds have since pressed for a new date altogether and Rovers have acted on the wishes of Liverpool and The Premier League.

Blackburn have finally agreed to move the Premiership clash that was scheduled to take place on April 15th, the 17th anniversary of the Hillsborough clash.
