HOT NEWS FROM INTER AND VALENCIA The chase for Rafa by Europe's top clubs takes a turn, and the reds look set to sign a new left back on a free transfer. Inter Milan have backed current coach Roberto Mancini today, reducing speculation that the Italian giants are chasing our boss. “These are just rumours,” technical director Marco Branca told Sky Sports News. “We are very happy with our current Coach. “We began our project with him two years ago and we want to continue our programme with him at the helm. “At this moment in time all that we are thinking about are our matches as we are sure who our Coach will be.” In separate news, Liverpool look poised to capture 26 year old Brazilian left back Fabio Aurelio. The player will be out of contract with Valencia in the summer. He has made 25 appearances for Rafa's old club this season, scoring twice from left back. The player suffered a serious injury during the end of Rafa's reign and only returned to full club football in October after a harrowing 18 months. This explains why the club and player have not yet agreed a deal. Further news on this transfer will follow as we learn more
