AT LONG LAST GONZALEZ SIGNS Liverpool's longest running transfer saga has finally come to an end.
The exciting Chilean winger, Mark Gonzalez, has been finally granted a work permit for Liverpool, the club he signed for 12 months ago. Mark has spent a season on loan with Real Sociedad and was a vital cog in their team. The 23 year old is an attacking left winger Rafa Benitez was delighted: "This is very good news for us and I am absolutely delighted to welcome Mark Gonzalez to Liverpool as he is a player the supporters will like to see," Benitez told the club's website. "Mark is an exciting left winger who can cross good balls and beat defenders and he is a very good signing for us. He has a very good mentality as when I was talking with him he told me, 'I want to play for Liverpool'. |
