XABI: OUR PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Thanks to everyone who voted in the forums for March player of the month.

It seems like Xabi was the man with 36% of the overall vote. Harry Kewell (22%) and Luis Garcia (16%) were the runners up.

Xabi, in particular, was hailed for his fantastic display in the derby game when Steven Gerrard was sent off after 18 minutes.

On that occassion as many others he has stepped up to the task well, being central in helping the team retain possession and create opportunities.

Well done Alonso.
