My very first Liverpool game was against Dinamo Bucharest in the European Cup back in 1983/84. A year when we were eventually crowned European Champions.

Tonight Everton were crushed 5-1 by the Romanian club in the first round of the UEFA cup, after being dumped out of the qualifiers for the Champions League last month.

You could almost feel sorry for them, but after all the furious debate and their insistence that they deserved to be in the Champions League AHEAD of the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS!!? then their last 3 European results have been sweet justice in our opinion.
