LIVERPOOL WARNED OFF PLAYER BIDS Liverpool's interest in two of Middlesbrough's player has provoked a response from their boss Steve McLaren. Benitez is reportedly interested in signing Queudrue, 27, and Riggott, 25, in the January transfer window but McClaren has warned off any bid. McClaren said: "They are doing very well for us and are two players who we have got no intention of letting go. "We are flattered, but they are the future of Middlesbrough Football Club." "The chairman is the one who puts his foot down and says 'No, we should not sell our best players,'" said McClaren |
