Liverpool, the Champions of Europe, have been drawn against either CSKA Sofia or Tirana in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. Assuming they complete the job against FK Kaunas this week in the 2nd leg, then they will be two matches from returning to the group stage of the tournament they won only weeks ago.

Everton will play Spanish third placed side, Villareal, Jose Reina's old club, which Man Utd could play Hadjuk Split in their match.
