Liverpool defeated Wrexham 4-3 today at the Racecourse Ground in the first friendly of the season.

Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher received a great reception as they paraded the European Cup before the match, and also showed off the new away kit.

Both Morientes and Baros scored twice, after the reds initially went 1-0 down.

Jose Reina and Bolo Zenden made their Liverpool debuts in the first half of the fixture.
