Valencia boss Rafael Benitez has spoken about how in football nothing is certain, as media reports continue to speculate he is on the Anfield shortlist.

"I have a contract, but football makes many turns and anything can happen," he said in a Spanish paper.

"If an offer arrives from any club, I would tell them to speak to my agent and he will speak to Valencia.

"I am very happy here, but one day they are shouting your name and the next they are booing you."
