SMICER BEING CHASED

FULHAM boss Chris Coleman is ready to make a shock £2million swoop for Liverpool's Czech Republic star Vladimir Smicer.

Smicer has impressed with the classy Czechs in Euro 2004, coming off the bench to inject pace and skill into a side that reached the semi-finals. But Smicer's Anfield future is in doubt under the new regime and Fulham believe he is ideal for their slick passing style in midfield.
