DIOUF COMPLETES MOVE Senegal striker El-Hadji Diouf has completed his season-long loan deal from Liverpool to Premier League rivals Bolton Wanderers. Diouf, 23, who has twice been named African Player of the Year, is expected to travel with his new team mates for their league match against Fulham on Saturday but unlikely to play. Bolton manager Sam Allardyce, who has signed eight players since the end of last season, told Bolton's website: "I believe that we have recruited a player of real potential. "I firmly believe we can resurrect his career and give him the impetus to recapture the form that made him into one of the best footballers to come out of Africa in recent times." Diouf joined Liverpool after the 2002 World Cup finals from Racing Club Lens for 10 million pounds, and played 75 times for them scoring six goals. He did not score last season, however, after converting from a striker to a right-sided midfielder. |
