Liverpool destroyed Arsenal in just 19 first half minutes - and £40,000,001 Wenger target Suarez didn't even need to score.

Liverpool were everywhere. They were winning every tackle, not allowing Arsenal to settle, and in the 15th minute Henderson worked hard to win the ball back. Suarez then sent over a world class defence splitting pass and Raheem Sterling fired in to make it 3-0.
Four minutes later, all before the 20th minute remember, and it was 4-0. A fantastic through ball from Coutinho found Sturridge who neatly finished past the hapless Arsenal keeper.
Liverpool had plenty more chances in the half. Luis Suarez should have opened his account with a thunderous shot that rebound off the post and nearly wiped out Kolo Toure.

All over.
Arsenal grabbed a late consolation from the penalty spot. Gerrard giving away the spot kick and Arteta converting.
But Liverpool eased through the rest of the game - giving opportunities to rest Sturridge, Gerrard and Suarez ahead of next weeks' two trips to the capital.
