Liverpool scored a goal that began with a James Milner corner, sadly it was sandwiched between two goals for Roma - the reds ending their US Tour with a defeat.
The reds took in the sights of the Busch stadium in St Louis, a baseball ground, as they took on former European Cup final opponents AS Roma.
Roma, scored a goal in each half thanks to Edin Dzeko and Mohamed Salah.
It was another game featuring two teams of 45 minutes, although Wijnaldum did fit in a full 70 minutes.
Alex Manninger started in goal for Liverpool - with Mignolet playing the second half. Emre Can also got an important 45 minutes under his belt before the reds return to Anfield.
Roma did most of the early running with Dzeko a troublesome threat for the reds. Ojo did put the ball in the net first for the reds but was correctly ruled out for handball by Winjnaldum.
Just after the half hour Dzeko made the break through, with questions to be asked of Dejan Lovren - Dzeko firing in for the one goal lead.
Liverpool levelled just before half time - a Milner cross headed down by Lovren - and Ojo was on hand to head in from a couple of yards out.
Whilst Liverpool had a full team change at half time, Roma kept on the influential Dzeko and his header just after the hour was only parried by Simon Mignolet - and Salah fired in the rebound.
With 8 minutes left Alberto Moreno went off with what appeared to be a hamstring injury - but post match it was suggested this was more likely to be a dead leg.
Liverpool fly back home today. Serious stuff starts in 12 days.
