Liverpool beat a Thai All Stars team in Bangkok this evening as the club's pre-season finally got underway.
Lazar Markovic scored in the second minute before Mamadou Sakho ended the half with the reds second. Both assists came via Joao Teixeira who showed plenty of promise in the first half.
Sakho's impressive headed goal came not long after a Danny Ings disallowed strike.
Second half saw a complete change in the Liverpool line up as well as the arrival of exceptionally heavy rain. Newly installed club captain Jordan Henderson sent over a rabona pass to Adam Lallana who fired in just after the hour.

James Milner, Nathaniel Clyne, Joe Gomez, Divock Origi, Danny Ings and Adam Bogdan all got their first taste of action in a Liverpool shirt.
The match started in swelteringly hot and humid conditions but as the second half got underway the heavens opened - and by the time the final whistle arrived the right hand side of the pitch was almost a no-go area.
Divock Origi grafted throughout the second half - hitting the post before finally getting the goal his efforts deserved. With five minute left Henderson's corner was met by the powerful head of the Belgian who powered in Liverpool's fourth.
