Confirmed Team News: Hull City v Liverpool

Mario Balotelli leads the line again for Liverpool - with Joe Allen coming in to replace Steven Gerrard.

Hull City v Liverpool

Liverpool are currently 7 points (and a large pile of goals) behind Manchester United who currently occupy 4th place in the Premier League.

Tonight's game at the KC stadium is Liverpool's game in hand over United.

The reds have won just 4 points from the last 4 games, with defeats against Man United and Arsenal, combined with a draw at the weekend away at West Brom compounding the misery of a FA Cup semi-final defeat to Aston Villa.

Daniel Sturridge, Mamadou Sakho and Lucas Leiva are all significant first team injuries for the reds. Alberto Moreno also misses out with injury.

Many Liverpool fans have elected to boycott tonight's away game incensed at ticket prices - many coach firms have also removed their services for tonight's game.  Liverpool fans were charged £50 to attend tonight's game - whilst Stoke fans were charged £16 and Everton fans £35 for fixtures earlier this season at Hull City.  There will be a gathering at both Anfield and at Premier League headquarters in London tonight against what many believe is corporate greed from Premier League clubs.
