Liverpool will want to put the disappointment of the mid-week cup exit behind them, and welcome back some of the more seasoned players, as the reds take on Bolton in the early televised match this weekend.  Victory would put Liverpool clear at the top of the table albeit possibly only for a few hours.

Sammy Lee will be returning to the club he briefly managed.

Liverpool’s only confirmed injuries are Philipp Degan and Martin Skrtel.
