The final qualification games have now been completed ahead of Thursday's UEFA Champions League group stage draw.
The reds entered the draw last season in the third pot of seeds but there is no mistaking Liverpool's position in the draw this year.
As holders and current European Champions, Liverpool are the top ranked side in the competition, along with Europa League winners Chelsea. The 6 league champions of Europe's top ranked leagues also make up the seeds in pot 1.
Teams from the same country cannot play each other, but with only Tottenham outside of pot 1 it allows a pretty open grouping for Liverpool to face.
Both Madrid clubs are in pot 2 (the reds have an almost 30% chance of drawing one of those two sides). Facing Atletico would obviously return Liverpool back to the Metropolitano stadium, the scene of our 6th European Cup triumph back in June.
With a German club in each pot, and thus they will have to avoid each other - there is also a strong chance that the reds will be placed in a group with one of the clubs from Klopp's homeland.
Similarly there are 2 French and Belgian clubs in pots 3 and 4. Country protection for them may also increase the chance that Liverpool will could be drawn against them.
The final this season will be held at the Ataturk Stadium, Istanbul - the scene of Liverpool's 2005 triumph.
