Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp hopes to avoid any confusion by bringing Simon Mignolet back for the FA Cup 4th round clash tomorrow against West Brom.
Loris Karius played in the 3rd round game against Everton, but that was when Simon Mignolet was first choice.
Now Loris Karius is first choice, so Mignolet will play in the FA Cup.
Clear? Excellent.
The Liverpool boss was speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow night's fixture when he the question of goalkeeping reared it's head.
He initially, tongue in cheek, asked the reporter for his idea what to do - before forcefully insisting he had made his decision.
"Simon Mignolet will play. The reason is I don't want to make it more confusing for all the people but I really think all goalkeepers, and Danny Ward will for example play in the U23, they all need rhythm, training and to play playing time as well.
"So they all have the opportunity to play to keep shape and importantly rhythm. And then if you need to change - you can only do that if you have quality goalkeepers."
Simon Mignolet is LFC's second most senior player in terms of appearances - he has played 201 times for the reds, only behind Jordan Henderson.
Loris Karius' career at Anfield is still in it's infancy as he has only represented the club 28 times.
