Liverpool have confirmed that Adam Bogdan will head to Hibernian on loan for the upcoming season.
The 30 year old Hungarian keeper joined Liverpool exactly 3 years and a day ago from Bolton on a free transfer but made just 6 appearances for the reds in his time at the club.
Brendan Rodgers brought the keeper in to serve as backup for Simon Mignolet but the following summer new boss Jurgen Klopp brought in Loris Karius.
The player went on loan to Wigan in the 2016/17 season but suffered a cruciate ligament tear in the November of that year and was sent back to Anfield to begin his long spell on the sidelines.
The player is now in his final year of his contract with Liverpool so this looks like the final goodbye for the player who has failed to shine. Hibernian get their Europa League qualifying under way in just 10 days time, they finished fourth in the Scottish Premier League last season.
Liverpool have not moved to bring in goalkeeping reinforcements just yet. Simon Mignolet is currently involved with the Belgian national side at the World Cup.
Both Loris Karius and Danny Ward were one of the number of players who returned to pre-season training today at Melwood.
