Around the world Liverpool supporters have been celebrating tonight's first leg victory in the Champions League but the Liverpool squad too have been posting their responses to the victory.
A tremendous night at Anfield gave Liverpool a solid 3-0 lead in the tie to take to Manchester next Tuesday, and both players, substitutes and staff have been posting on social media in the aftermath of the game.
And some of the players have highlighted the magnificent turnout before the game to welcome the players to the stadium as a key motivation in tonight's result and performance.
Substitute keeper Simon Mignolet couldn't contain his excitement at the final whistle as he included the anthem of the season 'Allez Allez Allez' in his messages.

It was Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's thunderbolt second goal that really shifted the momentum in the 20th minute. He seemed pleased about it.
