Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has given a press conference at Anfield as the team continue their Champions League final countdown.
The reds held a brief training session at Anfield in front of the media, before attention turned away from the pitch and into the mind of the Liverpool manager.
The reds are preparing for their 8th European Cup final, and their third in the past 13 years. Klopp has the opportunity to write his name into Anfield history - joining the legendary names of Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Rafa Benitez in an illustrious group of managers to have lifted club football's biggest trophy.
Throughout the press conference Jurgen appeared excited about the game ahead, determined and committed for Liverpool to play without any fear.
He referenced how Liverpool's best performances have come from being brave and how when they've attempted to concentrate on defending they have found themselves in sticky situations.
We're in a very good moment for the club because we finished the season in the best way we could. It felt really good and then having the time to prepare for this game is really good. We didn't have to rush it in 2-3 seasons. The boys could recover.'
Today (at Anfield) we only did a little athletic session but from now we have 3 more sessions before the game. We think we deserve to be were we are. The boys showed it in all different games. A great journey and we want to bring it to the best possible end.'
Emre Can was part of the squad who trained briefly on the Anfield surface, a fact that Klopp suggested he wouldn't have expected, but he didn't respond to rumours suggesting that Emre Can has already signed a contract with Juventus.
Could Can be part of the side in the final?
Let's put it like this. 10 days ago I didn't think it was possible (him training today) but we have to wait again to see. The door is open. He is really desperate to be part of it - we shall see.'
And was there any truth in the Juve rumours?
'I don't know. No idea. At the moment he is here with us.'
He was asked if Madrid being favourites helped LFC's approach?
They (Real) are more experienced that's a fact. If there was an experience market they should sell it then they could be even more richer than they are. Experience is important in life but it is not everything.'
'They have won the last 2 of three or whatever, but they played these finals with pretty much the same team. As a group they are very strong. That's all fact but it's still football and we have a chance and that's why let's give it a go.'
They are a really good football team. But that's how it should be in a final - you should face a really good team. But, good news - we are as well a really good football team and we are full of desire.
We will try in a very positive way to show the boys why it makes so much sense to be really brave in this game. It was not easy to be brave against Man City, not easy to be brave against Roma, but the boys did it. When we tried to defend a whole game we almost went out.
There are just five days remaining before kick off in Kyiv and preparations are now intensifying.
Liverpool Wil Win
this is the right tym am seeing liverpool as a champion 2017 – 2018
together we can win. As our slogan “YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE” its our time to glorify our victory. LIVERPOOL FOREVER
The three of them are dynamites who will burn the Madrids
Liverpool are far way better than Real Madrid this season thats real fact í owe no apology for saying í see no reason why real Madrid should win uefa champions league this season they dont dont deserve it look at the way they qualified against the penalty they got was not a fair one but as a liverpool fan í believe in our three fronts Mohamed Sala, í can describe him as one man army, Roberto firmino whom í can also describe as liverpool one man weapon of mass distruction n Sadio Mane whom í can describe as hydrochemical.
