Liverpool have received positive news on 21 year old Belgian striker Divock Origi.
A week on from his serious-looking injury against Everton the swelling has subsided enough for further scans to reveal that the player will not require surgery.
Reports in the Belgian press praised the news which should mean that Origi can be involved for them in the European Championship campaign this summer.
Following last week's game against Everton Klopp had already suggested that the injury wasn't a broken ankle and that hopefully it wasn't too serious.
Although a ligament had been torn a scan yesterday was required to rule out a second ligament tear.
The report also suggests that, if Liverpool make it past Villarreal, Origi could be back in contention by the end of Liverpool's season.
