Sergi Canós, the 19 year old Spanish midfielder, will train at Melwood today and could be set for his Liverpool debut in the final league game of the season.
The player joined Liverpool's academy at the age of 16 from Barcelona's famous La Masia training facilities.
Canós has spent the season on loan at Brentford in the Championship and equipped himself well in the tough division - scoring 7 goals in 38 appearances.
He spent the first part of his loan used more as a substitute but after the installation of a new manager there in December he became a first team regular - scoring a fantastic goal against Reading in the Christmas period.
Brentford pushed on with Canós in the side and finished the season in 9th place. In their final game they beat Huddersfield 5-1 away from home and the Liverpool man started the scoring after just 21 seconds.
He returned to Liverpool earlier this week at the conclusion of his loan and Jurgen Klopp mentioned him after last night's game:
“Sergi will be training tomorrow because he is back with us.
“He knows more about English football and it's possible he's available for Sunday. That's unbelievable and great.
“We will see how he feels. He did really good at Brentford and had a lot of time to play. For him it was really good. The Championship is a really strong league and he did well.”
Liverpool are likely to play another side with a strong youth element at West Brom on Sunday. The game kicks off just 77 hours before kick off in the Europa League final.
