Liverpool FC have this morning confirmed an agreement with Hoffenheim and Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino on a long term deal.
The deal is subject to the completion of a medical which will take place after the conclusion of this summer's Copa America tournament.
The 23 year old is believed to be signing a 5 year deal at Anfield.
Firmino has scored 47 times for Hoffenheim in his 151 appearances. He has spent the past four and a half seasons at the German club who picked him up for a snip from the Brazilian second division.
Firmino is seen as some as a direct replacement for Raheem Sterling who looks almost certain to move to Manchester City.
With Neymar suspended from the rest of Brazil's involvement in Copa America, both Firmino and Coutinho have become of increased importance to the national side.
