Gary McAllister and Sean O'Driscoll will not form part of Jurgen Klopp's first team LFC setup.
The Telegraph reports that Jurgen Klopp wants to bring his own team to assist him at Anfield.
O'Driscoll and McAllister were brought in during the summer, shortly after Colin Pascoe and Mike Marsh paid the price for LFC's poor performances last season.
O'Driscoll is set for the chop, but the club are open to keeping McAllister at Liverpool in some capacity. (Update: McAllister has accepted an ambassadorial role at the club.)
The pair have been taking training at Melwood since Brendan Rodgers was sacked on Sunday evening.
Zeljko Buvac has a long standing professional and personal relationship with Klopp. The pair played together at Mainz before forming a duo leading Mainz and then Dortmund to success.
Peter Krawietz meanwhile provides technical analysis to the German boss.
Chris Davies and Glen Driscoll, who also joined Liverpool with Brendan Rodgers - providing analytical support - will both leave.
According to the Telegraph young coach Pep Lijnders will remain at Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp is due to arrive in Liverpool today.
