Liverpool have completed the signing of former Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge.
The player is believed to have signed a 5 and a half year deal - Liverpool have not disclosed the transfer fee but it is believed to be over £10M. Chelsea meanwhile look to sign Demba Ba for £7M to replace him.
The 23 year old said:
"I'm humbled and happy to be here.
"I've not signed here to play for a couple of years and then move on.
"I've signed to be here for as long as possible. It's a humongous club - for me, one of the biggest in the world.
"To have the fans and world-class players we have here is amazing."
Sturridge has scored 24 goals in 96 appearances for the London club, after earlier spells at Bolton and Man City.
Daniel has been handed the number 15 shirt at Liverpool.
