Andy Carroll joins West Ham on loan for the season

Player signs for Spurs. Spurs offered £6M. Liverpool offered £4M and Jordan Henderson.
* Klass Jan Huntelaar
Brendan Rodgers ruled out a move for the player in his press conference today.
* Nathan Eccleston
Joins Blackpool
* Andy Carroll
Andy Carroll joins West Ham on loan for the season. The removal of an automatic clause to purchase the player helped sway Andy's decision to go on loan.
Liverpool will receive a £1M fee, plus West Ham are expected to pay the players full wages - estimated at around £3M for the year.
* Charlie Adam
Charlie has signed for Stoke City a year after joining Liverpool FC. Stoke have paid £4.5M for the Scottish midfielder.
* Jay Spearing
Jay has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan for the whole of the season.
* Samed Yesil
The reds have handed the German 18 year old striker a 4 year deal - purchasing him from Bayer Leverkusen. The player is expected to feature at reserve level this season.
I still think Liverpool needs Luis Fabiano and Miroslav Klose, If other English clubs can more than 2 professional strikers, why can’t Liverpool? After all, Liverpool is the best English club anyway.
