Fox Soccer's fly-on-the-wall documentary of Liverpool FC will be shown on Channel 5 in the UK.
Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group, took the decision to allow the cameras in - in an effort to increase the profile of the club in the United States. Chairman Tom Werner, with his media background, was instrumental in the decision.
Yesterday Channel 5 announced they would show the programme - titled Being Liverpool - in the UK as part of their autumn schedule.
The series captures the end of the Kenny Dalglish's reign which saw the club visit Wembley three times, including two cup finals before being sacked - with Brendan Rodgers taking over - the tour of North America and the beginning of the Premier League season.
Channel 5 indicated they were pleased with their 'incredible coup.'
Reaction amongst Liverpool fans has been mixed so far - but FOX did launch this brief trailer of the upcoming series.
I wasn’t sure about this until i saw the trailer.
