Liverpool centre-back Jack Hobbs, currently on loan with Leicester City, could be the subject of a summer transfer wrangle.
The 20 year old who has played for the reds in both the Carling Cup and the Premiership has had a fantastic season with Leicester City, getting 43 games under his belt and helping the Foxes in their quest to win promotion to the Championship. Leicester are currently 4 points clear at the top of the league and have the best defensive record in the league.
It is believed that Leicester boss Nigel Pearson will attempt to sign the player in a £500,000 permanent deal but we believe that Liverpool are likely to refuse to deal at that price.
We understand that Hobbs’ progress at the Walkers Stadium has been very closely followed by the Liverpool staff who have been impressed with his development, suggesting that the player may have a future at Anfield.
