Liverpool FC have today confirmed that we will play UEFA Cup runners-up Rangers at Ibrox two weeks before the Premiership season kicks off.
The reds will face Rangers for the first time in 10 years, after losing 1-0 in Walter Smith’s testimonial in 1998.
The reds confirmed pre-season fixtures are currently:
July 16: v FC Lucerne (Grenchen)
July 19: v Wisla Krakow (Friborg)
July 22: v Hertha Berlin (Berlin)
July 30: v Villarreal (Villarreal)
August 2: v Rangers (Glasgow)
The reds are still believed to be in discussions with Atletico Madrid about a potential friendly at Anfield before the season begins.
but kuyt is rubbish. crouch was infinitely better – at least he scored consistently
i agree. its the boys’ skill that will win us the game, not the kit. trust me, fantastic four is Gerrard, Torres, Carragher and Kuyt.
stop moaning about the kits get behind the boys they need us
It wont matter what colour we are in we shall still shine and overcome our foe.
