Dietmar Hamann has once again stressed he is happy at Anfield and isn’t interested in a move away from Liverpool.
Rumours from Germany continue to suggest the Reds midfielder will soon be on his way out of Merseyside, but Hamann insists nothing could be further from the truth and that he wants to stay.
“This speculation has been around for the last two or three seasons and it always seems to come back at the same stage each year,” he said.
“I’ve never said that I want to leave. I’ve got two years left on my contract and I am happy at Liverpool and enjoying my football, so it’s paper talk. I don’t know where the rumours come from and I don’t really want to know. As far as I’m concerned I’m happy and there’s no point moving.”
