Marko Grujic was tipped to start for the reds but for reasons as yet unknown didn't make the final squad.
Burton Albion have 4 points from 4 games at the beginning of their life in the Championship. They were automatically promoted last season under their manager, former Liverpool player, Nigel Clough.
