Well watching Liverpool this month has been a bit of a roller coaster ride hasn't it?

From the struggle at Yeovil, through the Spurs and Wolves misery, and right up to the second half of Newcastle. Will the real Liverpool please stand up. The first half of the Newcastle game, well after the goals, made for uncomfortable viewing. The number of times a pass was made behind the player - it looked poor and was not the Liverpool of old. Is it too much to ask for a ball to be played in front of a red shirt, running on to it ready to move it along again - the old classic 'Pass and Move'.

The second half though was all that, tearing Newcastle apart down the wings in one of our best 45 minutes of football in this miserable season.

We can only hope that this is the way of things to come, an injury free stretch till the end of the season with some reward at the end of the season. Whether it will come too late for Houllier is a matter for another day - but we all have to stay behind him during the rest of the season and draw our own conclusions at the final whistle of the final game. Let's hope that game is in Cardiff.
