Grand National fever is sweeping Liverpool and for a bit of fun we thought we would make five selections based, very loosely, on Liverpool FC!
1. Imperial Commander 14/1
With only 7 games of his Liverpool career remaining - Jamie Carragher has been a rock of Liverpool's defence for over a decade. While he has spent much of that time as vice-captain there can be little doubt of his leadership qualities on the pitch.

Liverpool have occasionally left it late to win matches. Odds on this horse will no doubt drop when almost every football fan in the country thinks it's worth a punt!
40. Viking Blond 66/1
Sami Hyypia once dressed up as a Viking at an LFC Christmas Party - referencing his own Scandinavian roots.
7. Roberto Goldback 28/1
Before the arrival of Brendan Rodgers - Liverpool and particularly owner John W Henry appeared exceptionally keen on another Premier League manager. In the end, for Martinez, it was a case of Roberto Goback to Wigan.
20. Always Waining 33/1
For Roy Hodgson it wasn't so much waining as pouring during his time as Liverpool manager. Many fans prefer to forget his lamentable time in charge at Liverpool - however we are going to give him a nod in one of our Grand National selections.
