Liverpool approached the agent of Balazs Dzsudzsak, the 26 year old Dynamo Moscow winger, about a transfer.
The Hungarian is currently contracted to the Russian club for the next 18 months, but the players' agent spoke to Sky Sports about LFC's interest.
The players agent, Jozsef Vorosbaranyi, said:
"Numerous clubs made an approach including Internazionale and Liverpool, but I can't say more concrete things.
"Balazs didn't ask the club to let him go because he feels good at the team and has a good partnership with coach Dan Petrescu.
"But anything can happen."
After spells at Debrecen, and PSV Eindhoven, the player moved to Anzhi Makhachkala at the start of the rich Russian clubs buying spree. 18 months ago Dynamo Moscow triggered the £16M release fee in his contract to sign him from their Russian rivals.
He has been a key member of the Hungarian international side since his debut in 2007.
