Liverpool today completed the signing of young French striker David Ngog.
The reds fourth addition of the summer put pen to paper today on a four year deal for an undisclosed fee which is rumoured to be in the region of around £1.5 million. This will see the 19 year old striker from Paris Saint Germain bolster Rafas attacking options for the first team squad.
With only one goal in 18 league appearances last season for his former team, he has impressed for his country at under 19 level – especially against England. And with PSG not doing so well last season it will be interesting to see how he performs in a better team.
Ironically being the cousin of former Newcastle defender Jean Alain Boumsong, David Ngog is known to be very pacey. And with training alongside the likes of Fernando Torres every week, he can only get better.
Dont know too much about this young new Red, but probably one for the future. Very dissappointed that we signed Keane. 20mil for a 28 year old is bad business for the long term, though i have no doubts he will do well with Torres for the next 2 seasons, and then it will be all down hill im afraid. What were we doing messing about with Barry all this time, and then finally missing out on what would have been a great buy, especially as he is left footed. We still needed another centrehalf and proven full back, as our defence problems will still be there this coming season with the current defence, unless someone steps up from the reserves etc.
i like the sound of this one seen him play in the u19 and looks good
the sky is our starting point.
wish we can be called “the burning reds”.hope
we can sign garreth barry n peharps keene.
