Simon Mignolet departed Wembley stadium yesterday afternoon and headed straight to Club Brugge - where he became a £6.4M signing for the Belgian side.
The player had spent the last 18 months of his Liverpool career as the reds second choice goalkeeper. Initially losing his place to Loris Karius and then operating as backup to Brazilian Alisson Becker.
His desire for first team football meant that the reds wouldn't stand in the way of any deal.

Simon expressed his pleasure at his time spent at Liverpool and said that the current squad was the best he had played with.
Within hours of this being confirmed the reds then completed the capture of the former West Ham keeper Adrian who was available on a free transfer. His contract with the London club had ended this summer.
He made 150 appearances for the Hammers in his six years with the club.
Our new Spanish keeper said:
"I'm very ambitious, I come here to try to win everything, to try to push Ali from the first minute and to make us better.
"Obviously I want to win titles. I come here to fight for all the competitions.
"We have many competitions ahead - we're going to fight for it and try to get them."

“They are big gloves to fill because Simon was such an outstanding professional and contributed to the group even when not in the starting XI.
Everything we know about Adrian tells us he has the personal qualities to go with his clear playing talent to ensure this area of the team is not weakened.
The transfer deadline ends on Thursday, one day ahead of the start of the Premier League campaign.
