Danny Ings will leave Liverpool this summer after discussions with Jurgen Klopp.
The 25 year old still has two years remaining on his contract but after overcoming long injury spells failed to force his way into the first team squad at Anfield.
He believes he is now ready and able to re-establish himself as a first team player elsewhere.
Liverpool will demand a sensible but not prohibitive fee for the player - allowing him to move on with the likes of Burnley and Crystal Palace interested. Burnley have continued their improvement in the three seasons he has been away, and will be competing in the Europa League qualifiers this summer.
Crystal Palace will be aiming to solidify their position in Premier League mid-table after flirting with relegation in the early stages of last season.
Injury hit Anfield career
Danny Ings arrived at Anfield from Burnley with 11 Premier League goals in his 35 appearances in his debut season in the top flight. He had helped Burnley progress out of the Championship back in 2014.
He was one of Liverpool's last signings under Brendan Rodgers but has been limited to just 14 Premier League appearances in three seasons - with three goals. He suffered a cruciate ligament injury in the first training session under new manager Jurgen Klopp in October 2015.
After easing back at the start of 2016/17 with reserve appearances he then suffered another knee injury requiring surgery in October 2016 - he only returned to the first team again in September 2017.
Despite some squad involvement at the end of the 2017/18 season he didn't make the bench for the Champions League final in Kiev at the end of May.
According to various media outlets he is also attracting interest from Italian side Inter as well as RB Leipzig, Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen of the Bundesliga.
