Liverpool earned a comfortable point away at Everton in one of the least anticipated Merseyside derbies for years.
With the reds suffering from injuries and this game sandwiched between two Champions League clashes - it's fair to assume there was other things on the minds of many.
Five changes
With Mo Salah and Andy Robertson unfit, Dominic Solanke and Ragnar Klavan came in to replace them. An unusual left back position for Klavan.
Alberto Moreno was named on the bench but picked up a thigh injury in the warm up meaning 17 year old Rafa Camacho was drafted in to the 18 man squad.
Nathaniel Clyne made his first appearance of the season at right back.
Danny Ings also started his first game under Jurgen Klopp with Roberto Firmino rested to the bench.
Gini Wijnaldum returned to the starting line up to replace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Goalkeepers on top
Both Jordan Pickford and Loris Karius proved key players in the first half with some good saves.
For Liverpool James Milner was peppering the goal area with crosses and shots - with Klavan behind him he had plenty of freedom to get himself forward.
Pickford reacted quickest when Solanke received a rebound and fired goalbound from the 6 yard box. Minutes later Pickford punched away a stinging shot from Milner.
At the other end Karius was called into action to quickly move across his goalline and tip a Bolasie curler away with his fingertips.

Liverpool enjoyed the lions share of possession and this continued into the second half when a period of pressure saw the home crowd grow increasing frustrated.
Little impact from subs
The reds eventually brought on reinforcements such as Oxlade-Chamberlain and Firmino as Solanke and Ings struggled to make an impact.
But the substitutions had little impact and as the game entered the final five minutes, Everton sensed they may have an opportunity to snatch victory. A failed connection by Coleman and a missed chance for Calvert-Lewin the two best moments for the home side.
Wayne Rooney cut a frustrated figure when he was subbed off on the hour but there was little to get excited about in this game.
There wasn't even a single yellow card - with the only potential incident being Danny Ings and Seamus Coleman squaring up. Even that didn't appear to be connected to a foul.
Liverpool extend the lead over 5th placed Chelsea to 11 points, although the Londoners do have 2 games in hand now.
Next up for the reds is a trip to Manchester on Tuesday night for the second leg of the Champions League Quarter Final.
