Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to welcome back a triad of attacking talent to training this week - a move he described as like 'our new signings'.
Phil Coutinho, Divock Origi and (still time to jinx it) Daniel Sturridge should return to LFC training this mid-week. Martin Skrtel is also back on the mend and could return to training at the weekend.
Klopp was speaking ahead of tomorrow night's return to Premier League action. The reds beat Leicester City on Boxing Day and now face the return fixture away at the current league leaders.
"Skrtel needs two or three days more before returning to training. Sturridge should return to training on Wednesday, Origi and Coutinho on Thursday. These are our new signings."
Klopp remained tight-lipped on any last minute transfer moves for the reds - although it appears that the reds are unlikely to be active in the remaining hours of this winter transfer period.
Jurgen was also asked about Joe Allen who has seen his stock rise in recent weeks - the player was named as captain in the weekend clash against West Ham (the 7th matchday captain under Klopp).
"For me he's always been a 1st team player. Before he was injured and not 100% fit. No doubt about his quality"
